To remove cakes easily from cake pans, line the cake pans first with aluminum foil, spray lightly with cooking oil, and then add your cake batter. When baking in the oven, you can reduce the oven heat up to 25 degrees by using a dark colored pan. To keep cupcake liners from sticking to cupcakes or muffins, spray the inside of the liners lightly with a cooking oil spray. Whenever baking bread or rolls, just before there done, gently rub or spray a little margarine across the top, put them back into the oven for a few minutes and watch for that pretty golden touch of color to appear. An egg slicer can be used for slicing foods other than eggs, such as mushrooms, strawberries, cantaloupe chunks or foods similar in size, weight and consistency. |
